Dan and I head West to Colorado and down the Arkansas River with Wilderness Aware Rafting and Ian, our guide. We have been very lucky with the weather, even thought its been scattered showers, nighttime downpours and even hail, we have had clear weather for all the river rafting and on the horseback ride. Its finally cleared enough to see the mountains and they already have some new snow on them. its been about 50-60F during the day, but getting warmer. I have plenty of layers of clothes so no problem. And this is August!
Luckily we are not camping this time. It would have been wetter in camp than in the river! Instead, we were high and dry at night in very nice B&B's.
